1. Job Details
  • Employment Type: 6-month contract, renewable subject to operational needs
  • Work Location: Singapore (single site; no relocation support)
  • Work Hours: 44 hrs / week, rotating shifts (may include nights, weekends, public holidays)
2. Salary & Allowances
  • Monthly Salary: SGD 3,600 - 4,750 The upper bracket (≥ SGD 3,700) is granted only to applicants who demonstrably meet all “Additional Criteria” listed in Section 5.
  • No overtime meal, transport, or housing allowances.
3. Core Responsibilities
  1. Carry out routine inspection, servicing and basic troubleshooting of electrical installations under supervision.
  2. Execute wiring, terminal labeling and component replacement strictly according to provided schematics.
  3. Maintain accurate daily work-order logs and parts usage records for supervisor review.
  4. Observe all site safety rules and Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures without exception.
  5. Perform any other related duties assigned by line management.
4. Essential Skills
  • Able to read simple single-line diagrams and standard electrical symbols.
  • Competent in using a multimeter, hand tools and common measuring instruments.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift components up to 15 kg.
  • Basic English literacy for completing work orders and safety forms.
5. Additional Criteria for Upper-Band Salary Consideration

Applicants seeking remuneration above SGD 3,700 / month must satisfy all of the following:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant hands-on experience in low-voltage distribution or industrial control panels.
  • Familiarity with at least one PLC platform (e.g., Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley CompactLogix).
  • Evidence of having completed a recognised Workplace Safety course within the past 24 months.
6. Education & Experience
  • Formal Education: No mandatory academic qualification.
  • Experience: Prior exposure to basic electrical maintenance is advantageous but not compulsory.
