Director, Tech Policy

BizTech group focuses on driving industry adoption of frontier technologies, such as AI/Data, 5G and Trust Technologies, and work with the National Research Foundation, Institutes of Higher Learning and Research Institutes on upstream research and translation at scale.Join us in our journey and jointly architect Singapores digital future.**Key Responsibilities**:- Lead the development and implementation of technology policies that align with Singapores digital transformation goals.- Collaborate with various government agencies, industry stakeholders, and international partners to drive consensus on tech policy initiatives.- Provide strategic guidance on emerging technologies, data governance, cybersecurity, and digital inclusion.- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to inform evidence-based policy recommendations.- Represent the agency in high-level discussions, conferences, and international forums related to technology policy.**Qualifications and Skills**:- Background in Public Policy, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field- Proven track record of leadership in shaping and implementing technology policies at a national or international level.- At least 10 years of experience in working with technology teams in research and/or engineering- Deep understanding of technology trends, regulatory frameworks, and the ethical implications of emerging technologies.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong presentation and engagement skills- Strong stakeholder management skills to work with both local and overseas partners and stakeholdersPosition will be commensurate with experience.LI-JM1
