Design Engineer

Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

• Start and lead the project design development to meet the objectives, requirements, and specifications.
• Prepare and develop design concept, 3D rendering and presentation for Client approval.
• Prepare drawings, material concept, FF&E list, material list and mood board for Client approval.
• Lead the Junior Designers on the preparation of design/construction drawings and technical deliverables.
• Consolidate and maintain project document/drawings.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and site team to ensure smooth project execution.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead the Junior Engineers on the preparation of technical deliverables.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design
• 5 years of experience as a designer in the marine industry or landed projects (fit-out sector preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Enscape, Photoshop or similar software
• Strong understanding of architectural materials, installations, and fit-out processes (marine-related knowledge will be a plus)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
