Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Chemist who will be primarily responsible for performing tests on construction building materials.The role is based in Sungei Kadut Loop, Singapore.

Responsibilities

  1. Operate and troubleshoot equipment such as GCMS, GC-FID, FTIR, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, IC, EDXRF, TGA, Arc Spark, providing technical guidance and training to new hires.
  2. Manage laboratory accreditation systems (ISO 17025:2017), develop new methods, and validate in-house methods.
  3. Establish new capabilities for the lab based on client, project, or market demand.
  4. Lead the team to ensure timely delivery of routine/daily tasks.
  5. Maintain quality assurance and uphold SAC certification standards.

Skills / Qualifications

  1. Minimum Degree in Chemistry with at least 2 years of experience.
  2. Self-motivated team player with excellent organizational skills.
  3. Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
