About Our Team

Our Legal team provides a full range of legal advice and services. Responsibilities are within the legal function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.

About The Role

You will be part of a world-class team working in our APAC Region. You will be an experienced and qualified professional in the legal sector with mastery of concepts and procedures in your specialty.

Responsibilities

  1. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements relating to SaaS and data licenses in APAC.
  2. Provide accurate, practical, relevant, and timely legal advice.
  3. Implement legal, compliance, and risk management best practices.
  4. Stay current with changes to legislation affecting the business.
  5. Research legal issues and evaluate risks.

Requirements

  1. LLB, LLM, or JD from a recognized university.
  2. Admitted to the bar in any common law country.
  3. At least 3 years of experience in-house or in a law firm, with prior litigation experience preferred.
  4. Well-versed in contract, intellectual property, data protection, artificial intelligence laws and regulations.
  5. Proficient in speaking, writing, and reading English and Chinese contracts.
  6. Strong communication skills to explain complex legal issues and risks.
  7. Experience negotiating SaaS and data contracts.
