Assistant Event Manager
Position Overview:
- We are looking for a professional and detail-oriented Assistant Events Manager (Food Kiosk Events Management) to coordinate and oversee our organisations operations.
- As an Events Assistant Operations Manager, you will take charge of coordinating with customers, planning and execution of food kiosk events, ensuring the successful implementation from conception to completion.
- You will oversee the operational aspects, including logistics, working with client, vendor management, budgeting, sales collections, internal staff and on-site coordination. The ideal candidate should ideally have some experience in event management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand event objectives, requirements, and budget constraints.
- Develop action plans and make purchases of food items, set-up, etc.
- Work to address client enquiry and come up with new marketing ways to get more customers.
- Coordinate event logistics, mainly food warmers and food ingredients and brief manpower.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations
- Track and report event financials, including collections from sales and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- On-Site Event Management - Including overseeing on-site event operations, ensuring smooth execution and timely resolution of any issues.
Requirements:
- Have good initiative and problem solving ability
- Willing to roll down sleeve to work on issues and at the same time have the leadership to direct part-timers / staff to achieve event success.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
- Driving license (manual) is a plus.
Working Hours and Others
- Office/Factory is at Admiralty / Sembawang
- Working Hours generally weekday mornings and relatively flexible. Mostly outcome driven - i.e. sales closing and successful completion of events.
- Will be provided a manual van to drive if transport is required.
- Starting pay $1.6k + 5% commission on completed event sales collection (approximately 5% on additional 20k = additional $1k).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Approx $2+k per month
