What youll do

  • Prepare monthly reconciliations, generate and update daily reports.

  • Complete all reconciliations and resolve all discrepancies at each month-end reporting cycle.

  • Ensure vendor & client company information is accurately collated in ABGs financial systems.

  • Perform financial posting of charges or guests requirements, occasional Point of Sale (POS) machine use required.

  • Ensure that all completed jobs are correctly charged and posted in accordance with GAAP.

  • Ensure that vehicles and drivers hours are documented and billed correctly.

  • Ensure suppliers invoices are reconciled with ABGs invoices to clients.

  • Coordinate with vendors and clients for any planned and/or ad hoc requests.

  • Liaise with vendor to ensure drivers movements and assigned jobs to drivers are as expected.

  • Forecast vehicle requirements (immediate or delayed) and activate or stand down outsourced disposal fleet based on operational demands.

  • Perform any ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management

  • Adhere to company policies, compliance guidelines and procedures

What were looking for

  • Tertiary education or Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance

  • Full work rights in Singapore with no restrictions

  • Experience in an industry accounting role is highly regarded

  • Excellent time management skills and adherence to deadlines, especially around month end.

  • The ability to work as a part of a team as well as autonomously.

  • Solid accounting knowledge and able to explain finance to non-finance people.

  • Strong accounting and financial control knowledge, ability to challenge the status quo and provide financial support to key stakeholders.

  • Excel knowledge including pivot tables and confidently use formulas.

  • Experience using Oracle ERP, Sage, UBS and MYOB accounting software is highly regarded

  • Experience working in the tourism, logistics, or vehicle leasing industries is highly regarded

  • Demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse group of people across multiple functions, and across multiple countries.

  • Demonstrate the willingness and ability to learn and take on new challenges.

  • Comfortable communicating with various stakeholders both internally and externally
