Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator (WSHC)
Responsibilities
- To assist the WSH Officer in managing Workplace Safety & Health issues in the Construction/ factory environment
- Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with MOM safety requirements and all workers comply with safety regulations.
- Ensure the implementation of the Company workplace safety management system and enforce it with the WSH Supervisors on site.
- Accountable for investigating, analysing, and determining the cause of any incident, accident, or dangerous occurrence during the work process and recommending means of preventing recurrence
- To prepare the necessary safety report as requested
- To check and report to the Company on time for any safety infringement and incident/accident
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a WSH Coordinator in the construction industry.
- Experience with LTA or building projects
- Good knowledge of the WSH Act and other WSH-related compliance
- Professional Certification and/ or Advanced certification in WSH
