Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Independently carry out Conceptual, Basic, Front End Engineering Design, and detailed engineering of Mechanical Rotating equipment.
  • Prepare Technical Specifications, Material Specifications, requisitions, etc.
  • Develop Scope of Works, Invitation To Bid, RFQs, and Evaluations.
  • Compile Technical and Commercial Bid Evaluations (TBE & CBE).
  • Attend, comment, and witness equipment performance tests during Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning activities.
  • Review and evaluate vendor documents.
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare reports.
  • Perform design reviews and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Review EPC construction specifications, detailed design calculations, and drawings.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering of Mechanical Rotating Equipment.
  • Familiarity with Rotating Mechanical Equipment, Air Compressors, Pumps, fire-fighting pumps, marine loading arms, turbines, conveyor systems, etc.
  • Knowledge of industrial codes like ASME B&PV, API, ANSI, ISO related to mechanical design.
  • Experience in Testing & Commissioning and Operations is advantageous.
  • Experience with static equipment design such as tanks and pressure vessels is a plus.
  • Interest and experience in Energy Transition and Transformation are advantageous.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing clients and contractors.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
