Our client is a reputable name in the Shipping Industry. Currently, they are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as “Executive / Senior Executive (Communications/Business Planning)(Shipping)”.

In this role, you will be contributing in the following areas :

• Work with internal stakeholders to establish regional goals/objectives/KPIs to align key business functions with the organisation's overall strategic direction
• Assist in managing the KPI reporting process and conduct quarterly business reviews
• Support the creation and implementation of regional Communication Strategy to countries and help them to develop their Communication Work Plans and strategically manage their Communications Budget
• Review and align countries' brand building efforts with the latest brand book and share best practices identified with regional countries for adoption
• Establish strategy to drive adoption of internal communication tools (e.g. Workplace)
• Support in meeting preparation/facilitations for global and regional meetings
• Maintain and update the regional intranet portal on a regular basis
• Support the Crisis Communications efforts in the Region (training arrangement, establish country's crisis communications flow)

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Marketing or Communication, Maritime Business Management or related studies
• Ideally 2 - 3 years of Corporate experience, preferably in container shipping and with exposure to other various functions under Commercial and Operations. But not a must.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with team members to prioritize assignments and tasks
• Familiar with the use of Graphic creation tool (Canva, Adobe Spark) and video editing tool
• Knowledge in G-Suite (Google Site, etc), MS Office Suite Tools, Workplace (by Facebook)
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous 
• Preferably with knowledge in container shipping and exposure with multiple functions
