Our client is a listed company in Precision Manufacturing industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Procurement Engineer to be part of their Procurement Team. They are located in the East Area - easily accessible.
Duties of Procurement Engineer:
- Assist Procurement Manager with KPIs and management reports.
- Coordinate RTV matters with Quality team and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery with suppliers.
- Manage end-to-end procurement using ERP systems.
- Handle RFQs, vendor sourcing, bid evaluation, and purchase orders.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and resolve supply issues.
- Monitor inventory and support reorder planning.
- Conduct cost analysis and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain supplier and material data in ERP.
- Support training of junior buyers and monitor vendor performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Min 3 years of procurement experience in manufacturing industry
