Position SummaryThe Pharmacy Strategy Manager will serve as the organization's pharmacy subject‑matter expert and lead strategic pharmacy initiatives across the business. This role is responsible for pharmacy‑related governance, complaint management, operational improvement, regulatory compliance, and supporting pharmacy integration within the eAMATA remote patient monitoring platform and related care programs. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, clinical teams, operations, technology, and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of safe, compliant, and patient‑centric pharmacy services while supporting the organization’s growth objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesPharmacy Strategy & Leadership- Develop and execute pharmacy‑related strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance on pharmacy operations, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve pharmacy services, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.
- Support business growth initiatives involving pharmacy services and healthcare innovation.
Pharmacy Complaint & Quality Management- Serve as the primary owner of all pharmacy‑related complaints, escalations, and investigations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor complaint trends and recommend service and process improvements.
- Ensure timely resolution of pharmacy‑related issues while maintaining high service standards.
Digital Health & eAMATA Support- Provide pharmacy expertise and support for the eAMATA remote patient monitoring platform and related care programs.
- Collaborate with clinical, operations, and technology teams to ensure medication management processes support patient care objectives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative care delivery models that integrate pharmacy services with remote patient monitoring.
- Identify opportunities to improve medication adherence, patient engagement, and clinical outcomes through digital health initiatives.
- Serve as the pharmacy subject matter expert for pharmacy‑related workflows, protocols, and patient safety considerations within eAMATA programs.
Regulatory & Compliance- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of pharmacy regulations, professional standards, and healthcare policies.
- Ensure all pharmacy‑related activities comply with local regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Support audits, inspections, quality reviews, and accreditation activities.
- Develop and maintain pharmacy‑related policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
Stakeholder Management- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve pharmacy services and patient experience.
- Act as the pharmacy representative in strategic projects and cross‑functional initiatives.
- Provide pharmacy expertise to leadership during planning, evaluation, and implementation of new programs.
Team Leadership- Provide guidance and mentorship to pharmacy personnel as assigned.
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
QualificationsRequired- Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Registered Pharmacist with a valid practicing license.
- Minimum 5 years of pharmacy experience.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership, management, or strategic pharmacy experience.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, quality management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing pharmacy complaints, investigations, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred- Experience in compounding pharmacy services.
- Experience in digital health, remote patient monitoring, chronic disease management, population health, or integrated care programs.
- Experience in healthcare strategy, operations, or service development.
- Project management experience.
- Additional management or business qualifications are advantageous.
