Organisation: Primary Care Medical Group (multi-clinic network)
We are seeking a registered pharmacist to establish and manage our central drug purchasing and repacking unit. This role combines supply chain oversight, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance to support a network of primary care clinics.
The successful candidate will work closely with medical directors, clinic managers, and regulatory authorities to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective medication supply across the group.
Key Responsibilities
Central Drug Procurement
• Manage purchasing of medications for multiple primary care clinics
• Negotiate with pharmaceutical suppliers and wholesalers
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and batch traceability
• Implement cost-effective procurement strategies
Regulatory & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with Singapore HSA and MOH regulatory requirements
• Manage documentation for therapeutic product handling, storage, and distribution
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the central drug unit
• Prepare for and manage regulatory inspections and audits
Medication Repacking & Quality Systems
• Oversee secondary repacking of medications in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Implement GMP-aligned processes for repacking activities
• Maintain batch records, deviation logs, and product traceability
• Ensure correct labeling and packaging standards are maintained
Operational Leadership
• Set up workflows for the central drug purchasing and repacking unit
• Train clinic staff on medication handling and inventory management
• Coordinate logistics for medication distribution across clinics
• Implement digital systems for inventory control and traceability
Requirements
• Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council
• Experience in hospital pharmacy, regulatory affairs, pharmaceutical supply chain, or manufacturing pharmacy preferred
• Familiarity with HSA regulatory frameworks and quality systems
• Experience in medication repacking, labeling, or GMP environments is an advantage
• Strong organisational and documentation skills
• Ability to set up and run structured operational systems
