PASTRY CHEF
- Prepare a variety of baked goods such as breads, pastries, cakes, tarts, cookies, and desserts.
- Create and test new recipes to develop innovative pastry items for menus.
- Decorate and present pastries to ensure high visual and taste quality.
- Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies to ensure ingredients are always available.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the baking and preparation areas.
- Monitor baking temperatures and times to ensure proper results.
- Supervise junior pastry staff and provide training when necessary.
- Work closely with the executive chef or kitchen team for event planning or special menus.
- Ensure all food prepared meets safety and quality standards.
