The Level 2 Network Cloud engineer will be the subject matter expert to assist on the administration and support of the network security domain and routing mechanism. The engineer will require to equip with firewall administration knowledge, network routing knowledge and operation experience for Palo Alto firewall and AWS native cloud controls for example, vpc, route table, subnets, security groups, etc. The engineer also needs to have experience on terraform as most of the configuration and deployment is done via terraform.Day to day operation of managing, administration of all Palo Alto firewalls and panorama in GCC+ based on change management.

• Day to day operation of managing, administration of AWS route table, subnets, security groups, based on change management.
• Security monitoring, alerts and mitigate on any network threats in GCC+.
• Incident management and resolution, raising tickets to Microsoft and Palo Alto to support and rectify any problems.
• Firmware upgrade of Palo Alto firewalls to remediate any vulnerabilities and to get the most out of network security enhancement.
• Generate monthly reports on firewalls health, network security threats and asset inventory for review.
• Firewall rules review and hardening review to assess the security posture.

Requirement:

• Diploma in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in a System Integration environment and/or implementing Network systems is a plus
• Familiar and experienced in Palo Alto Firewall
• Certification in Network Cloud products is a plus
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to explain technology from a customer perspective
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, team player and written skills.
• Positive working attitude and passionate in information security
