Our client, an established financial institution, is seeking a motivated Junior to Mid‑Level Lawyer to join its Legal team on a 6‑month contract starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing practical, solutions‑oriented legal support, including:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
• Reviewing and preparing term sheets for financing transactions
• Supporting loan syndication processes
• Assisting with standard financing documentation and transaction execution
• Advising internal teams on contract interpretation, legal risks, and compliance requirements.
• Supporting corporate governance matters
• Assisting with regulatory or compliance initiatives
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and, where required, external counsel
• Conducting legal research and providing general legal administrative support

About You

You will thrive in this role if you have:

• Called to a common law bar
• 1–5 years of post‑qualification experience, ideally in corporate/commercial, banking & finance, or in‑house roles
• Familiarity with banking documentation
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• A pragmatic approach, with the ability to balance legal risk and business needs
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
