We are working with a globally based technology firm to hire a technology / software focused transactional / commercial lawyer.

This is a new and critical hire to support the Asia-Pacific market which includes key countries such as Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia

• Projects: 20%

Job Description

• In this role you will support the AP market business leaders with on-going transactions, marketing, sales, commercial contracts and day to day advice.
• Key markets include Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia
• Your role will take a leading role on complex transactions, ensuring legal support is available throughout deal lifecycles.
• You will also support product teams with the development of new products, services and solutions.
• This is a Director level role which forms part of the leadership team in Asia, offering oversight and exposure to strategic operations for a multi-billion dollar company.
• Reporting to the General Counsel and forming part of her key APAC team, your career development is of the highest importance.

Requirements

• 10 - 18 PQE (Guideline)
• Corporate and commercial background, ideally with a mix of law firm and In-House
• In-House background from stable technology based businesses essential
• Ability to work with sales, marketing and product teams across Asia
• Ability to work across cultural barriers, not just in Asia but the UK and US
