About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of architecture leadership, hands‑on technical delivery, and team collaboration. You will own application modernisation architecture at a high level while working closely with technical leads, delivery teams, and stakeholders across complex enterprise engagements. The role suits a senior architect who has moved beyond pure IC work and now leads through influence and collaboration.

Job Details

• Own and lead application architecture for large‑scale modernisation initiatives, ensuring alignment across design, delivery, and business objectives
• Provide architectural leadership and manage / mentor technical leads and senior engineers, driving strong collaboration across teams
• Act as the senior technical authority for complex engagements, including governance, design reviews, and architectural decision‑making
• Work closely with delivery and project leadership to ensure architecture intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior / Principal Architect with exposure to team leadership or management, beyond pure individual contribution
• Strong background in application modernisation, microservices, and cloud‑native architecture within System Integrators (SI), BFSI environments, or as a Principal Architect in relevant enterprise products
• Hands‑on architectural expertise in Java‑based ecosystems with strong collaboration alongside technical leads and delivery teams
• Cloud experience in AWS is required; experience with GCP is a strong advantage (experience in both is preferred). Azure‑only or Alibaba Cloud–only profiles are not suitable
