Job Description
- Lighting Solutions, Electronic Engineering applications, project management, Daily operations of the firm (public and built environment infrastructure industry-related primarily)
- Technical research, and solutions project management (Site works, Construction, Urban Development planning, Electronics, and Internet of Things industry related)
- Sourcing, purchasing, evaluating of lighting (construction and infrastructure industry-related primarily)
- Identify potential lighting technology trends and prepare for future development
- Hands on lighting applications design, planning, implementation, programming, troubleshooting
- Research and product development of patented state of art smart building solutions (hardware, software, on site implementation, big data analysis)
- If time and opportunity permits; to take part in international competition
- Delivery, Operations, Inventory management and all other ad hoc tasks
- Project support; learning and applying lighting product, controls, systems, on site electrical electronics troubleshooting, testing and commissioning
Job Requirements
- · Global trends in lighting, semiconductor, nano-technology, light fidelity industry, wireless technology
- · Knowledge in lighting hard-wares and relevant technologies that complements lighting and visual displays
- · Sales skills, research, and presentation on possible solutions for MNC and SME entities.
- · Interactive and experiential lighting setups for creative marketing agencies (local/overseas opportunities)
- · A fast-paced, high adrenaline environment, challenging timelines, and deliverables are to be expected.
- · Performing high-level data gathering, SWOT analysis, industry trend identification, digital marketing
- · External: Sourcing, purchasing, conduct due diligence on product, suppliers, and their processes
- · Enhance operational capability, improve internal processes, and getting relevant productivity and quality control certificates
- · To consolidate/document down the knowledge in lighting hard-wares and relevant technologies that complements lighting and visual displays.
- · Being with a consultancy firm, you will gain knowledge of how consultancy works are strategized, developed, and executed from top level down
Requirements:
- Must be able to commit for 4-6 months.
- 5.5 days work week
- Background in electrical, electronic, software engineering, architecture and design will be necessary
- Students should be from local Singapore polytechnics or universities
- Students with prior related work experience and skills in C and C++ software and firmware programming will be a bonus.
