Job Title: International Insurance Manager / Specialist
Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing and developing international insurance solutions for the company, including freight, property, and credit insurance. Based in Singapore, you will work with global insurers and brokers to design, implement, and manage insurance programs that support our commodity trading and mining investment activities. Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with international insurance companies and brokers
Research and stay updated on global insurance products and market trends
Design and manage insurance programs for freight, warehousing, property, and credit risks
Enhance and optimise existing insurance programs to meet business needs
Review, negotiate, renew, and manage insurance contracts
Handle insurance claims, including submission, followup, and settlement
Support adhoc tasks assigned by the department
Requirements
At least 8 years of experience in insurance, preferably in transportation, property, or credit insurance
Experience in commodity trading or related industries is an advantage
Relevant insurance qualifications or certifications (e.g. CPCU, CII) preferred
Strong knowledge of international insurance markets, products, and brokers
Good understanding of risk management and insurance program design
Experience with insurance contract management and claims handling
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Able to work in a fastpaced environment and collaborate well with teams
Proficient in English and Mandarin to work with international stakeholders
Comfortable using MS Office and preparing reports
