What this role is about

This is a hands-on AI technical lead role focused on early-stage innovation, prototyping, and product discovery. You’ll work closely with Product and business stakeholders to turn ideas into working AI prototypes, validate feasibility, and shape what eventually becomes real products.

This is not a pure project manager role and not a high-level strategy-only role. You are expected to build, not just coordinate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on AI/ML prototyping (POCs, MVPs, experiments)
• Translate business problems into clear ML / AI problem statements
• Build and validate models, pipelines, and demos to support product decisions
• Partner closely with Product Managers during early discovery and ideation
• Convince stakeholders using data, prototypes, and technical reasoning
• Act as technical lead for a small AI innovation team
• Guide ideas from research → prototype → product handover

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on ML / AI engineering experience
• Comfortable building prototypes beyond notebooks
• Solid product thinking (discovery, validation, feasibility)
• Experience influencing non-technical stakeholders
• Some team leadership or mentoring experience
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, 0‑to‑1 environments

This Role Is NOT

• A PMO / delivery-only role
• A “jack of all trades” innovation generalist
• A role for someone who no longer codes
