About The Role

Elliott Scott HR is working with a leading Professional Services firm to appoint an HR Manager for its Asia region, based in Singapore. This role is integral to shaping and executing the regional people agenda across a diverse portfolio of markets including Singapore, China, Japan, Australia, Indonesia, Dubai, Africa, and Korea.

Reporting into the Head of HR, Asia, you will act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, providing both strategic direction and hands-on HR support. Summary of the role and key responsibilities:

  • Partner leaders on workforce planning and organizational design
  • Advise on employee relations, performance, and change management
  • Drive talent initiatives including hiring, succession, and development
  • Ensure compliance with regional employment laws (Singapore focus)
  • Support compensation, benefits, and annual review processes
  • Oversee HR operations, policies, and HRIS data/reporting
  • Lead engagement, culture, and inclusion initiatives
  • Manage external vendors and collaborate with global HR teams

Key skills required:

  • 8–12 years of HR experience, with exposure to regional or multi-country responsibilities within Asia.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore employment law, with working knowledge of other Asian jurisdictions.
  • Experience operating within complex, matrixed organisations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with senior business leaders.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to link people strategies to business outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident handling sensitive employee relations issues and HR risk.
  • Able to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with HR systems; Workday experience would be beneficial.
  • Degree qualified in Human Resources or a related field.
