About The Role

Youll have the accountability to build and lead Reckitts category growth strategies and define the go-to-market strategy across the 4Ps, driving excellence in in-store execution, thus enabling Reckitt to execute business growth plans and be capable of delivering the planned net revenue and company operating profit on a consistent basis. You will lead a team of trade marketing members overseeing the achievement of customer and channel plans. Youll also be responsible for developing the trade marketing team and building a strong talent bench for both local and international talent pools.

Trade Marketing at Reckitt is a challenging and rewarding career path, in which you will oversee sales forecasts and strategies, proposing and directing the execution of programs to maximize sales volume potential and overachieve plans.

Your responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of Trade Marketers and Business Analysts, closely partnering with sales and marketing functions to deliver business objectives.
  2. Drive sales volume and gross sales value, optimize product mix, and manage trade spend to achieve net sales and gross margin targets.
  3. Increase market share, distribution, in-store visibility, and space share for Reckitt brands across various channels.
  4. Lead annual sales channel planning, integrating brand plans with channel objectives.
  5. Manage overall Trade Spend allocation and control in Singapore.
  6. Evaluate monthly offtake data and develop trade plans and strategies to support sales ambitions.
  7. Develop category strategies for key channels and customers, aligning with business objectives.
  8. Conduct market visits to assess product availability, execution standards, and monitor market trends.
  9. Build strong relationships with key customers and develop channel plans.
  10. Determine trade spending strategies, manage budgets, develop promotions, and optimize product mix.
  11. Develop joint business plans with key accounts and negotiate trading terms.
  12. Ensure alignment of marketing and sales activities, develop forecasts.
  13. Lead, motivate, and develop the team, ensuring compliance with policies.
The experience were looking for
  1. Over 10 years in trade marketing and sales management within FMCG.
  2. Strong understanding of retail and channel landscapes and consumer behavior.
  3. High agility, able to work across multiple brands and categories.
  4. Strong data analysis skills and managing large data sets.
  5. Comfortable working with large, cross-functional teams.
  6. Knowledge of market research and data analysis tools.
  7. Key business partner to the Country Manager.
