Head of Operations

The client of ours specialize in engineered solutions for lubrication applications to industrial clients around the world. They are currently expanding their operational presence in Singapore and are seeking an experienced Head of Operations.

This role is vital in maintaining smooth workflows across functions such as customer service, client relations, production, inventory control, quality assurance, and procurement.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Lead the customer service team to ensure timely and effective handling of customer inquiries, orders, and concerns.
• Foster strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and drive retention.
• Act as a key point of contact between customers and internal teams to ensure expectations are understood and fulfilled.
• Coordinate daily production operations and scheduling to achieve delivery timelines and maintain quality standards.
• Track workflow, capacity, and team performance across manufacturing functions.
• Work closely with production supervisors to uphold safety protocols and maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
• Ensure accurate inventory management through regular tracking, cycle counts, and reporting.
• Collaborate with planning and logistics teams to align inventory with production schedules and customer demands.
• Support quality assurance programs to meet both customer expectations and internal quality benchmarks.
• Partner with QA and production teams to identify and resolve quality concerns.
• Encourage a culture focused on quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary to support production and maintenance operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in operations or manufacturing management, preferably in industrial or materials sectors, knowledge of QC, ISO 9001.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing, inventory control, and procurement processes.
