Description
This premier insurer is committed to strengthening its finance function as it continues to grow in the region. It is now seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Finance to be based in Singapore.
Responsibilities
As Head of Finance, you will oversee financial reporting, business partnering, controllership, operational finance, investment and regulatory matters. You will lead the timely submission of financial reports, ensure robust internal controls are in place and continuously enhance control frameworks to support sound governance. Additionally, you will manage key stakeholders and vendors while driving finance transformation initiatives related to regulatory updates, system enhancements and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
The ideal candidate would have at least 15 years of experience in the insurance industry and deep expertise in end-to-end finance. Prior experience in the insurance sector is preferred, along with a proven track record of leading finance teams and deep technical expertise in IFRS, MAS regulatory reporting and financial controls. You bring proven leadership in managing teams, driving performance as well as thriving in a dynamic environment. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
