The candidate will directly interact with clients within the target segment of SME Corporates. The candidate will be required to provide advisory to clients and be involved in expanding the scope of our e-FX Solutions.

Reporting to the Team Head, Corporate Sales & Structuring, the Treasury Advisor will be responsible for the sales and marketing of Global Market Products and Services, which includes investment products such as FX and FX Options, Dual Currency Investments, Equity Linked Convertible Investments, Interest Rate Derivatives, and Cross-border financing solutions to SME Corporates. They will strive to deliver electronic FX Solutions to corporate clients, originate new client opportunities, ensure smooth rollout, and eventual commercialization.

The candidate will drive existing business to uncover cross-sell opportunities as well as onboard new customers. They must understand and analyze clients businesses and exposures and partner with other stakeholders within the bank to recommend, develop, and deliver best-in-class solutions to clients that can differentiate OCBC from the competition.

Global Markets encompasses Treasury Advisory and Institutional Sales, Asset Liability Management, Trading, and Business Management. All working together to offer services that enable efficient business operations and support growth. You will work with partners in Business Units and other departments to originate and commercialize bundled solutions across FX and payments needs. You will also work closely with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to ensure compliance with guidelines and controls.

• A university degree in a business-related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of Global Markets Sales experience
• Previous experience in client-facing roles with a proven track record of growing and maintaining relationships through value-added service and commercial skills
• Strong corporate client relationships supporting hedging and/or investment requirements is an advantage
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Self-starter with a motivated, entrepreneurial attitude
• Ability to handle pressure, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with high accuracy
• Professionalism and integrity
