OverviewThis role is responsible for leading and delivering a global innovation program focused on ingredients used in coating, filling, and beverages, with a specific emphasis on fats. The position manages a team of product experts, oversees the global fat portfolio for the BC organization, and directs the Compound Science Lab within the Global Innovation Center, Singapore.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Global Innovation Program – Ingredients in Coating, Filling & Beverage (20%)- Formulate the strategy for the global innovation program to drive business growth in this category
- Engage the leadership team across business and functions to secure support for the program
- Plan and manage resources required to deliver the innovation program
Manage Global Fat Portfolio & Support Product Innovation (30%)- Own the global fat portfolio
- Leverage product expertise to support product innovation activities worldwide
Manage a Team to Deliver Global Projects (30%)- Lead a team of product experts to deliver global innovation projects on time and in full
- Collaborate with cross‑regional and cross‑functional teams to ensure project success
- Plan and manage resources required for project delivery
Manage Compound Science Lab, Global Innovation Center, Singapore (20%)- Operate the Compound Science Lab, including the Sensory Lab, in the Global Innovation Center
- Plan and manage resources necessary to run both labs efficiently
About You- Master’s or PhD in a Science or Engineering discipline, preferably Food Science & Technology
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant role, including at least 6 years in a leadership position
- Fluent in English; a second language is a plus
- Ready to travel a minimum of 30% of the time
- Experienced product expert in coating & filling ingredients, with a focus on fats
- Strong knowledge of product application, formulation, and processing for coating & filling
- Solid business acumen in global markets or at least one region (AMEA, WEU, CEE, NAM, LATAM)
- Understanding of consumer‑ and customer‑centric product innovation in a B2B environment
