Introduction of the team

Great talents are needed for startups to grow. The People team designs and implements strategies targeted at addressing talent challenges tech startups face. We have a range of engagement activities which we drive, to build meaningful connections with these individuals, they can be intellectually stimulating, inspiring and most of all, fun to be at. Our work involves a lot of creativity, thoroughness and perseverance as we have a myriad of activities going on daily - from pipeline building strategies to leadership capability development programmes.

With the expansion of the team, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to support the research, event planning and recruitment operations of the team. We aim to match top talent with high-potential Deep Tech startups with projects in the fields of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, IoT, Robotics, Quantum Computing and more.

As a Talent intern, you will be responsible to manage and support all operational and administrative matters, to ensure smooth execution of our Talent Programme.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with talent acquisition activities including candidate outreach, management screening and shortlisting for the talent programme.
• Identify and analyze key clusters, institutions, and talent pools within relevant ecosystems.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and executing talent events (career fairs, open houses, campus talks, networking sessions), including venue booking, marketing ideation, vendor liaison, and event setup.
• Support outreach to universities, partners, and professional communities to drive event participation.
• Research and identify potential candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, industry forums, and talent databases.
• Support the building of pipeline of qualified talent for active and future hiring needs.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or graduate student in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with outreach and initiating conversations with new contacts.
• Interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR as a career pathway.
• Proactive, resilient, and able to work independently.
