Overview
This is a leading Commodities Group, with an international presence in markets and asset base. The Group is seeking a high caliber Corporate Planning & Strategy manager to provide strategic and operational support to the leadership team.
Role
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Strategy, the role involves executing the annual management cycle, including scheduling and facilitating management meetings and conducting profit plan settings and budget updates. This role is crucial in ensuring organizational alignment with long-term objectives through cross-functional coordination, stakeholder engagement, and oversight of external communications, public relations and branding. The successful candidate will also support enterprise-wide initiatives and government liaison efforts to enhance organizational capabilities. Additionally, the manager will support operational excellence and transformation initiatives, manage interactions with external bodies, and enhance organizational capabilities for future-readiness. The role also includes participating in the formulation and execution of long-term corporate strategies and supporting the establishment of policies that promote the company's growth ambitions.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a degree in Business or a related field, with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience in commodity trading and a strong understanding of trade flows will be viewed as a distinct advantage. You will be described as one with excellent business planning capabilities, strategic with excellent interpersonal skills. You are also collaborative, detail-oriented, sensitive to cultural differences and adaptable to change.
