Responsible for defining and creating content strategies aligned with business objectives and user needs, optimizing for search engines and social media.
Responsibilities- Content Strategy
- Define and detail a strategy for how the content helps a product or service to deliver on its value proposition
- Create sensible processes for structuring and refreshing content
- Content Creation and Optimization: Translate complex information into clear and concise language
- Develop compelling copy, including headlines, taglines, and body text
- Maintain consistent tone and style across products
- Apply SEO best practices to content creation
- User Research and Analysis: Conduct user research to understand needs, preferences, and behaviors
- Utilize various research methods, including interviews, surveys, and analytics
- Information Architecture: Design and organize content for easy navigation and findability
- Validate information architecture using methods like card sorting and tree testing
- Usability and Accessibility: Create content that is accessible and inclusive
- Design and conduct usability tests to evaluate content effectiveness
- Content Management: Audit, track, and map content to information architecture
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across all content
- Design Pattern Application: Utilize industry best practices and emerging technologies for content organization and presentation
- Brand Alignment: Develop content consistent with the companys brand image
- Address both business goals and consumer needs in content creation
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest developments in SEO, content trends, and consumer behavior
- Identify areas for improvement based on usability testing and performance metrics
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure content aligns with overall product strategy
- Experience working as a Content Strategist, UX Writer, Communications Designer or related design role
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, product design, UX, or related field
- Skilled in copywriting, content creation, and copy editing, including writing in different voices and styles for various target audiences
- Strong content presentation skills
- Comfortable working with Product, Tech, Data, and Business partners to deliver services and experiences
- Strong knowledge of product design processes and emerging technologies
- Demonstrates systems thinking, teamwork, leadership, planning, and successfully implemented projects in a dynamic and agile environment
- Self-directed, organised, and efficient; a deep and insightful thinker who likes the challenge of a complex problem and is an effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
