Job Title: Senior Associate - Construction (Non-Contentious)

PQE: 5-7 years (UK scale)

About the role:

A top-tier international law firm is looking to hire a Senior Associate to join its high-performing Projects team in Singapore. The role is focused on non-contentious construction work, supporting large-scale energy and infrastructure projects across APAC.

We are open to relocating top-tier talent from UK, Australia, HK, Dubai etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on front-end construction matters, including the drafting and negotiation of related project agreements
  • Act for a wide range of clients including sponsors, investors, lenders, and government-linked entities on major cross-border energy and infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across banking, corporate, and project finance teams on the development and financing of infrastructure and energy assets
  • Provide guidance to junior lawyers and contribute to client development and thought leadership initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Commonwealth qualified lawyer with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience (UK scale) gained in a top-tier international or local law firm
  • Strong technical grounding in non-contentious construction law
  • Demonstrated exposure to major energy and infrastructure projects
  • Commercial acumen, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a cross-border team.
