Business Development Assistant Manager Job Brief

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Assistant Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Business Development Assistant Manager Responsibilities

  1. Develop a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  2. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  3. Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  4. Promote the companys products/services, addressing or predicting clients objectives.
  5. Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to legal rules and guidelines.
  6. Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
  7. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  8. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  9. Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
  10. Develop growth strategies and plans.
  11. Manage and retain relationships with existing clients.
  12. Increase client base.
  13. Have an in-depth knowledge of business products and value propositions.
  14. Write business proposals.
  15. Negotiate with stakeholders.
  16. Identify and map business strengths and customer needs.
  17. Research business opportunities and viable income streams.
  18. Follow industry trends locally and internationally.
  19. Draft and review contracts.
  20. Report on successes and areas needing improvement.
  21. Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  22. Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
  23. Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  24. Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  25. Find and develop new markets and improve sales.
  26. Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  27. Develop quotes and proposals for clients.
  28. Set goals for the development team and business growth and ensure they are met.
  29. Train personnel and help team members develop their skills.

Business Development Assistant Manager Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or relevant role.
  2. Experience in sales, marketing, or related fields.
  3. Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  5. Excellent organizational skills.
  6. Ability to work proactively with minimal guidance and handle uncertainty.
  7. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  8. Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
  9. Time management and planning skills.
  10. Ability to work under pressure.
  11. Availability to work within opening hours (e.g., evenings, holidays, weekends).
