We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely collections, supporting month-end financial activities, and working closely with internal stakeholders to maintain healthy cash flow and accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company's Accounts Receivable (AR) portfolio and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Prepare and monitor customer ageing reports and outstanding receivable reports.
  • Record customer payments and perform bank reconciliations accurately.
  • Verify payment transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Process credit notes and customer refunds in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents and accounting records.
  • Prepare supporting financial documentation for audits and reporting requirements.
  • Process monthly payroll for regional entities and support statutory submissions, including CPF contributions and quarterly GST returns.
  • Handle customer rebate calculations in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Purchasing, and Operations teams to resolve payment-related and account reconciliation issues.
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries regarding payments, invoices, and account reconciliations.
  • Support ad hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a finance-related role is preferred.
  • Fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
  • Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and bank reconciliation processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Responsible, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
