AV technician

The team of AV-IT Support (A supervisor and Technicians) is responsible for

AV-IT set-up in classrooms and meeting rooms - Plan and prepare AV-IT equipment and

support for CSC business and operations

Incident management - Manage and troubleshoot AV-IT issues to ensure seamless

business and operations

Maintenance of AV-IT equipment - Conduct non-comprehensive and preventive

maintenance

Corrective actions and resolutions - Follow up on corrective actions and resolutions from

incident management and maintenance

Management of AV-IT assets and licenses - Manage AV-IT asset and licenses for

business and operational sustainability

Anticipative support and communication for end users - Assist end users (CSC staff and

trainers) to be more prepared for training programmes/events and meetings

Professional advisory partnership - Partner with CSC AV-IT team to provide subject

matter expertise in AV-IT matters

For on-site personnel, the roles and responsibilities to be dedicated as following:

1. Operations Supervisor

A dedicated full time (100%) stationed on-site Operations Supervisor.

(a) The supervisor shall lead, supervise, manage, and account for all on-site AV-IT

personnel, including:

(b) Being the point of contact to liaise with roving AV-IT personnel in fulfilling the

requirements of this contract at CSC

(c) Scheduling and rostering onsite technicians to meet the service deliverables and

standards. Flexibility of rostering the duty can be discussed with the relevant

parties based on the requirements of the training programmes and events.

(d) The supervisor shall oversee operations including:

• Scheduling, assigning and monitoring maintenance activities (Reference to Para

8) MAINTENANCE OF AV-IT EQUIPMENT

• Managing incidents and ensuring corrective actions and resolutions are in place

• The supervisor shall be accountable for the service performance to ensure

service deliverables and standards are met

2. On-site Support Personnel (Technicians)

(a) The AV-IT Technicians stationed in CSC should be trained and proficient in either

AV or IT:

• Have qualifications and relevant working experiences to provide AV IT support

for classroom / event space set up and troubleshooting; and

• Be familiar with the CSC equipment and installations, including knowledge on

availability of equipment and functionalities
