Senior Finance Executive (6-Months Fixed Term Contract)

Work Location: Singapore

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Senior Executive, Finance to support the finance operations and reporting activities for multiple entities in Singapore. This is a 6-month contract role with a DP World entity in Singapore, with potential for renewal or conversion subject to individual performance and business requirements. The role will be responsible for handling full sets of accounts, month-end closing, statutory compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and coordination with external auditors and tax agents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle full sets of accounts for three companies.
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to Management and Headquarters.
  • Issue monthly invoices to subsidiaries accurately and on time.
  • Prepare monthly intercompany schedules (balances and transactions) and perform reconciliations.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial analysis and audit schedules for month-end closing.
  • Assist in the monthly closing activities for the active operating company.
  • Prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
  • Liaise with external auditors and prepare supporting schedules for the annual audit and financial statements.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns.
  • Prepare Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) and coordinate with tax agents for annual corporate income tax filing.
  • Prepare and submit annual XBRL filings.
  • Ensure compliance with company internal controls, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 6-month Fixed Term Contract with immediate or short-notice availability preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or shared services environment.
  • Experience handling full sets of accounts and month-end closing.
  • Knowledge of Singapore GST, ECI, corporate tax, and XBRL requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
