Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Services Engineer role based in Singapore. The Field Services Engineer will install, commission, and maintain semiconductor equipment at customer facilities, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. Responsibilities include performing on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs, as well as executing scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with service procedures and safety standards. The role involves providing technical support, training, and guidance to customer personnel, while documenting service activities, generating reports, and communicating issues and resolutions to internal engineering and support teams. The Field Services Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate complex technical problems and contribute feedback for product and process improvements.
Qualifications

• Strong field service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and equipment start-up.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics for complex electromechanical or semiconductor systems.
• Hands-on technical support skills, including issue analysis, resolution, and escalation when required.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance, calibration, and routine equipment health checks.
• Customer service mindset with the ability to build professional relationships and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
• Comfort working in cleanroom or manufacturing environments, following safety and EHS guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on customer sites.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, support shift or weekend work when needed, and travel to customer locations within the region.
