We are seeking an E-commerce packer who will be responsible for preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring items are correct, securely packaged, and accurately labeled for timely delivery. This role operates within a warehouse environment and involves physical activity. Job Responsibilities • Order Fulfillment: Accurately select items from warehouse inventory based on order forms, packing slips, or electronic scanners. • Packaging: Pack products securely in appropriate containers (e.g., boxes, poly mailers) to prevent damage during transit. This may involve using cushioning materials and following specific packaging guidelines. • Labeling and Shipping: Print and apply shipping labels, weigh packages, and prepare parcels for courier pickup. Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch. • Quality Control: Inspect products for quality or discrepancies before packaging and report any damaged items or inventory errors to a supervisor. • Inventory Management Support: Assist with general inventory tasks such as receiving stock, sorting, shelving, counting stock (stocktaking), and updating inventory records in a warehouse management system (WMS). • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area and follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures. • Additional Duties: Perform other general warehouse duties or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by a team leader or manager.
