You will report directly to the Lead Engineer.

Job Scope

  • Manufacture and assemble parts following work instructions, and adhering to deadlines
  • Assemble Windee window panels and products to a high standard
  • Assemble, finish and inspect 3D-printed components
  • Perform soldering and basic electronics assembly
  • Operate, monitor and maintain our fleet of 3D printers
  • Prepare and schedule print jobs to meet production deadlines
  • Perform maintenance and basic troubleshooting on production equipment
  • Manage inventory of components, tools and consumables
  • Carry out quality inspections before products are shipped
  • Assist with prototype builds, testing and product improvements
  • Help develop and improve assembly processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
  • Assist with Logistics, such as updating of administrative documents
  • Any other relevant duties as assigned

Requirements

  • NITEC/DIPLOMA in Electronics/Electrical /Mechanical Engineering
  • Basic ability to read electrical/electronics schematic diagram.

  • Active learner, with ability to execute tasks independently
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Practical hands-on experiences, such as any of the following: soldering, crimping, harnessing, mechanical assembly, drilling, sanding, etc.
