Sales Manager- Commercial, Construction

Responsibilities:

  • Drive New Business: Identify and onboard clients and projects to meet sales and profitability targets.
  • Market & Network Development: Gather market intelligence, expand client network, and nurture key relationships.
  • Industry Insight: Stay current on sector trends and competitor activities.
  • Bid Oversight: Review tender proposals, make go/no‑go decisions in consultation with the director, and act as Bid Manager for major projects.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Integrate with the BD team and work closely with other departments.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead discussions with clients on bids and contractual terms.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and develop the tender and BD team to meet performance goals through training and performance management.
  • Brand Stewardship: Uphold and enhance the companys brand, image, and reputation.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Undertake additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 8-12 years experience in business development within the construction industry (ground improvement experience a plus).
  • Experience in hands‑on geotechnical design expertise and solution management Is a plus
  • Proficient with Office 365 and MS Office applications.
  • Strong grasp of commercial/contractual project aspects.
