Safety Supervisor

Job Description:

As a Safety Supervisor at Right Construction, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and enforcement of safety policies and procedures across all construction sites. You will play a vital role in promoting a safe working environment, minimizing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Implement and enforce company safety policies and guidelines in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and relevant standards.
  • Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for site workers and subcontractors.
  • Investigate and report on safety incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies during safety audits and inspections.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, including risk assessments, safety plans, and training documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to develop and update site-specific safety plans.
  • Promote safety awareness and a culture of zero accidents on-site.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Valid WSH Officer (WSHO) certification or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction safety supervision, preferably with in HDB Constructions.
  • Strong knowledge of local safety legislation (WSH Act, regulations, and codes of practice).
  • Experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to enforce safety policies effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
