The Major Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with key accounts to drive revenue and ensure customer satisfaction. This role involves strategic planning, customer engagement, and collaboration with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with major clients to understand their needs and ensure service excellence.
- Sales Strategy: Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and develop strategies to capture new business.
- Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions to secure profitable agreements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations, marketing, and support teams to deliver solutions that meet client expectations.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor account performance and provide insights to senior management regarding account health and potential risks.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and market trends.
Key Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or related fields.
- Possess proven experience in account management or sales, preferably in logistics or supply chain.
- Display strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Present strategic thinking with problem-solving ability.
- Able to adapt and showcase resilience in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate ability to analyze data and market trends.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
