Your Focus

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible to supports the daily operations of a lab by preparing samples, maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. They assist in experiments or product testing, follow standard procedures, record data accurately, and help with logistics such as sample delivery and documentation.

How You Will Contribute

• Turn fragrance samples into finished products for testing.
• Prepare samples for perfumers, marketing, and SDM teams following lab guidelines.
• Work with the FDS team to prepare and send out consumer test samples.
• Set work priorities with the Regional Application Manager.
• Keep clear records of ongoing work and results.
• Help manage raw material stock and update the lab database.
• Make and keep in-house base formulas when needed.
• Ensure lab equipment is clean and working properly.
• Keep daily lab supplies stocked.
• Maintain a clean and organized lab.
• Use SAP to manage tasks and update base stock information.
• Train new interns on how to prepare samples properly.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

• Diploma in Chemical or any other relevant discipline
• Basic laboratory knowledge
• Familiar with using SAP tools for logistic and material request
• Practice safety and good housekeeping
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good team player, open minded, embrace diversity
• Able to work well under pressure
• Meticulous
