Engineer (Soil Investigation)

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management

• Plan and see through soil investigation projects.
• Develop project timelines, allocate resources and ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinatewith clients, consultants and relevant regulatory authorities.

2. Technical Oversight

• Review and approve soil investigation methodologies.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of geotechnical data collected.

3. Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all activities comply with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Keep up-to-date with geotechnical regulations, standards and best practices.

4. Resource & Budget Management

• Manage budgets, procurement, and usage of investigation equipment and materials.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Prepare technical and financial reports for management reporting purpose.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation.
• Communicate findings/data effectively to internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering, recognized by PEB Singapore.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in soil investigation or geotechnical engineering. Candidates who have more years of experience may be considered for a Managerial role.
• Strong technical expertise in soil mechanics and ground investigation techniques.
• Ability to interpret complex data and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to the management.
• Excellent leadership, team management and communication skills.
