Role Description
This role is more than just accounting and payroll administration—it is a career pathway to transitioning from traditional back-office operations to a dynamic, customer-facing role. As our Accountant and HR Payroll Administrator , you will start by managing accounting and payroll operations for our own and our incubated companies, ensuring compliance and leveraging tools like Xero (accounting) and Talenox (HR payroll). Over time, the focus will shift toward managing relationships with startup teams, contributing to the coworking space ecosystem, and playing a key role in fostering a collaborative technology community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bookkeeping and prepare financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle tax-related matters, including annual tax returns, ensuring compliance with Singapore regulations.
- Administer payroll, CPF submissions, and related HR processes efficiently using digital tools.
- Build relationships with startup teams, acting as a key point of contact for financial and operational support.
- Collaborate on the development of a thriving coworking space ecosystem, fostering innovation and community engagement.
- Gradually transition from operational accounting tasks to strategic customer relationship management and ecosystem development.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: for this job, we are NOT able to sponsor employment pass/SP for foreign candidates.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years relevant experience in accounting, payroll, or bookkeeping is advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools like Xero and Talenox is a plus.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential. Basic knowledge of written and conversational Chinese is beneficial for supporting a diverse client base.
