Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at Wagepoint, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software at every stage of development. You will report directly to the Director of Engineering. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining our softwareu2019s reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards.

• Identify functional gaps, automate test processes, and collaborate with the development team to enhance our product.
• Design and maintain automated test suites.
• Integrate testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure test environment readiness and analyze/optimize test processes.
• Own performance testing.

• 5+ years of experience in leading software testing with a focus on automation, performance testing, and test data management.
• 2+ years of experience in driving full automation.
• Expertise in automated testing tools such as Playwright; API testing tools like Rest Assured; and performance testing tools like JMeter and K6.
• Strong programming skills in C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Experience generating and managing test data for various scenarios.
• Secure coding practices with security testing tools.
