As a Senior Data Scientist (Onchain Analytics) , youll work at the intersection of data science and compliance—leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and blockchain data to enhance anti-financial crime (FinCrime) frameworks. This high-impact role is essential to powering next-gen compliance systems such as AML detection engines and supporting audit and risk assessments.

  • Collaborate with FinCrime & Compliance teams to enhance operational efficiency and risk mitigation through data insights.
  • Interpret blockchain and transaction data to identify patterns, risks, and optimization opportunities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain ML-driven compliance systems (e.g., for AML detection).
  • Support audit requests, QA testing, and model validation activities.
  • Drive innovation from PoC to production in new analytics or compliance-focused solutions.
  • Lead complex projects independently while handling day-to-day analytical support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or higher in a quantitative discipline; PhD preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in data science, ideally in fintech, blockchain, or compliance tech.
  • Proven experience with onchain data analytics or AML transaction monitoring systems.
  • Strong programming skills: Python, SQL , and familiarity with AWS ML services .
  • Experience with ML model deployment and lifecycle management.
  • Passion for translating cutting-edge academic research into applied solutions.
  • Comfortable handling both ad-hoc analytical tasks and long-term product development.
