Research Associate (Psychology/Sociology/Education)

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of research projects on vertical leadership development for school leadership professional development.
2. Liaise and work closely with stakeholders from schools and project collaborators.
3. Conduct literature reviews and prepare policy reports for stakeholders.
4. Prepare and update ethics documents for the Institutional Review Board.
5. Recruit participants.
6. Collect data through interviews over three time-points, in collaboration with the PI and research team.
7. Collect data through field observations and document analysis, with the PI and research team.
8. Perform data analysis and manage data analysis pipelines under the supervision of the PI and contracting school division.
9. Handle research-related administrative tasks, such as purchasing materials and equipment.
10. Perform any other duties as required by the Principal Investigator.

1. Masters in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or a related field from a reputable university.
2. Excellent communication skills with a good command of English for literature reviews and report writing.
3. Self-motivated and able to work independently in data collection, analysis, and communicating findings.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with Nvivo software.
5. Willing to travel to school sites for data collection.
6. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
7. Self-directed learner capable of acquiring relevant skills as needed.
8. Experience with qualitative research methods.
9. Teaching experience at MOE schools is a plus.
10. Experience with academic publication processes.
11. Good knowledge of qualitative research methods and understanding of leadership and management theories.
