Partner Communications Manager, SEA
Marketing Communications (Marcom) is the creatively-led global team that oversees Apples consumer facing marketing. We ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across all medias and platforms. Every day, hundreds of millions of Apple customers around the world interact with our products.
We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging and inspiring marketing experiences. The Partner Communications Manager leads the marketing communications strategy, planning and execution for Apple products and services in the Partner (indirect) channel. This team drives the development of partner journey, campaigns, and creative with some of the biggest brands across the world, shaping how Apple shows up within every touchpoint in the partners space, including all advertising, physical and digital environments.
DescriptionThis role is responsible for driving marketing innovation and raising the creative bar with indirect Channel Partners, whilst upholding the integrity of the Apple brand. Drive innovative partner strategies and impactful creative work for Apple products and services through a deep understanding of the Apple brand, our partners brands, commercial priorities, market trends and challenges.
- Work across the global organization to understand both macro and comms trends for Apple product and services.
Synthesize findings into insights to drive optimization of future advertising, digital and in-store efforts, internally and externally with partners.
- Work with Global (Geo) Partner Communications teams globally to identify and develop partner strategies and communication plans, including advertising, digital channels and the partners owned marketing channels in-store and online.
- Develop and drive global processes, across Apple products and services, to improve the quality and effectiveness of the partner work as well as the efficiency of the path to get there.
- Collaborate extensively across many teams, internationally and locally, both internally at Apple and externally with partners such as Carriers, Retailers, Banks, SMBs and Enterprise Resellers, Media Content Providers and more.
- Inspire and contribute to the large global network of Geo Partner Communications Managers, sharing standard processes, findings and case studies to.
- Business travel required up to 35% time.
- 8+ years of proven experience in international account management and/or strategy at advertising agency or in-house marketing communications for a global brand.
- Experience in brand communications - from strategy to creative production and execution to analysis of results.
- Understanding of digital platforms (social, e-CRM, e-commerce platforms, content, performance marketing, digital in-store) and how they can be leveraged to deliver the most compelling product experience throughout the customer journey.
- This role will heavily focus on Thailand market so language proficiency in Thai is required.
- Experience in delving deep into a partners business, marketing strategy and consumer insights, to understand challenges and find opportunities.
- Passion for great work, seeing potential and nourishing it, with a tremendous ability to influence both internal and external partners to drive the work forward.
- Passion and eagerness to drive thoughtful strategy, build innovative communication plans and develop great creative and integrated campaigns.

- Experience in understanding business and product strategy and consumer insights, to build a global communications strategy for partners.
