Merchandiser (Anime products)

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor Sales and handle inventory levels at locations assigned
• Monitor, maintain and rotate products on display, making sure that displays are optimized at locations assigned
• Moniter sales performance of products at locations assigned and advise other teams of performance
• Submission of inventory reports and highlight non-moving items to sales and marketing teams
• Be able to assess effectiveness of different product and store layout displays to improve sales figures
• Maintain good working relationships with floor managers and on-site staff at locations assigned
• Be Flexible to once in a while work during weekends (off-in-lieu will be given) on occasions especially when clients request for meetings or when we are able to do roadshows
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements:

• Experience working in a SME / Start-up environment, preferably in distribution or retail sales
• Strong interest and passion in Japanese Manga / Animation/ Trading Card Games/ Table Top Gaming
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• A positive and out-going personality with a love to meet people
• A team player who would not hesitate to provide support to other teams
• Must be meticulous in their work
• Prior experience in merchandising would be a huge plus
