LQA Game Tester (Chinese - Traditional HK or TW)

Overview

TransPerfect Games is looking for gamers and freelance testers with native Traditional Chinese language skills to join us in providing client support on challenging test problems in a dynamic environment. You will be testing games from small independent studios to AAA titles.

Responsibilities
  • Execute linguistic test plans and test cases, and suggest improvements
  • Identify, isolate and document linguistic issues and verify fixes
  • Use test tools and automation as required
  • Apply knowledge of user preferences in the target market to influence the product
  • Collaborate with partner teams in testing the product
  • Proactively look for gaps in test coverage
  • Perform basic configuration and setup tasks on PC, game consoles or mobile devices
  • Offer constructive feedback on gameplay, fun factor, and game balance based on knowledge of the target market
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Native level in Traditional Chinese
  • Passion for games/testing/technology
  • Prior experience in playing games in Traditional Chinese and English
  • Familiar with Traditional Chinese and English gaming terminology
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Drive, positive attitude, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment
Bonus
  • Game testing experience
  • Experience with security testing/fuzzing tools
  • Experience with performance/stress testing tools and methodologies
  • Experience with accessibility testing
  • Experience with certification testing and/or lot checks
  • Experience with testing tools like Fiddler, Netmon, etc.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems like ADO, JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
  • Experience shipping software products or certificates in games testing, design, or engineering
